WRITER: Maria Amália Camargo was born in Santos and, at 8 years old, was enchanted by her great-grandmother's typewriter, which sparked her interest in writing and storytelling. She graduated in Literature from USP and interned in art-education projects for children at MAC. She has been enjoying children's and young adult literature since 2006.
ILLUSTRATOR: Vanessa Alexandre was born in São Paulo and has been working for over 12 years in the publishing market, as a children's and young adult author and illustrator, for publishers in Brazil and abroad. A participant in major exhibitions, such as the Cow Parade, she was also selected for the third edition of the Refugiarte exhibition, by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), in addition to conducting literary workshops and activities on illustration.
