Her work focuses on the teaching and learning of French as a foreign language and on teacher training for in-person and distance learning classes. She was also president of the Association of French Teachers of the State of São Paulo and in 2013 was decorated by the French government with the Ordre de Chevalier des Palmes Académiques.
