How do experiences within the same family intertwine? The intertwining of Maureen's and her granddaughter's diaries invites readers to uncover surprising secrets. The fight against prejudice, the search for social justice, and Afro-Brazilian and Celtic traditions weave a narrative of subtle ancestral wisdom.

> CROSS-CUTTING THEMES: cultural diversity, self-knowledge, family and friendship

> WRITERS: Heloisa Prieto, from São Paulo, winner of several literary awards, is the author of 82 works aimed at young people and children. She holds a Master's degree in Communication and Semiotics (PUC) and developed research on cultural memory as the theme of her doctoral thesis (USP). In 2018, during a stay in Dublin, Ireland, she met Adrienne Geoghegan at the Irish Writers' Centre. From this encounter, they began writing the novel *Viajantes do vento* (Winder Travelers), a work that addresses the trajectory of young immigrants from both countries, as well as the dialogue between Celtic and Afro-Brazilian cultural traditions. Part of the writing took place in person, but also remotely, generating a rich creative experience. With several of her titles adapted for theater, TV, and film, Heloisa continues her research on different mythological roots and the relevance of their narratives and teachings in the contemporary world. She has already published two works with the publisher: *Coração musical de bumba meu boi* (Musical Heart of Bumba Meu Boi), a work approved by the PNLD Literário 2018; and Visiting Dreams, acquired by the literary program of the São Paulo city hall.
