The Steadfast Tin Soldier | Publisher
The Papa-Páginas collection was created to provide children with a new reading experience. While reading, they interact with the story by completing the scene with the Papa-Páginas. This develops their observation skills, aesthetic sense, and motor skills. The book comes with cardboard Papa-Páginas that clip onto the top of the page. The collection includes traditional classics of world literature, adapted from various sources, or fun musical riddles in verse form. Each page contains a rhyming stanza that engages the child and facilitates comprehension and participation in this interactive experience.
A tin soldier, who is missing one leg, falls in love with a ballerina who, like him, is a toy. Seeing her balancing on one foot, the toy thinks she is also missing her other leg. Feeling that they make a perfect pair, he will do whatever he can to reach his beloved.
> CROSS-CUTTING THEMES: cultural plurality and ethics
