Speak less, ask more and change your leadership style.

"This practical and inspiring book introduces seven transformative questions that will make a difference in how we lead and support people." ― BRENÉ BROWN, author of Daring Greatly.

"Michael Bungay introduces coaching practice for busy managers. No fuss, no abstract theories, no boring stories, just simple everyday tools for coaching." ― MELISSA DAIMLER, University of San Francisco

American composer Harlan Howard once said that all good country music is made with just three chords and the truth.

Similarly, this book offers seven questions and the tools to make them a daily method for working less and generating more positive impact.

The essence of coaching is helping others unlock their potential.

In my company, we have already taught coaching practices to more than 10,000 managers as busy as you. Over the years, we have come to consider certain statements to be undeniable truths:

• Offering coaching is simple. And the Seven Essential Questions presented in this book give you the answers you need most.

• You can conduct a coaching session in 10 minutes or less. And, in today's fast-paced world, you need to be able to do that.

• Coaching should be a daily and informal act, not an occasional and formal event, like "It's training time!"

You can make coaching a habit, but only if you understand and use proven mechanisms to create new routines.
