Ipratropium bromide nebulizer solution (drops) is indicated as a bronchodilator for the maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema; it is also indicated in combination with beta-2-agonist medication in the treatment of acute bronchospasm associated with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis.
