What is Cetobeta Dermatological Cream used for?
Cetobeta is indicated for the treatment of skin diseases requiring anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal action, caused by susceptible germs such as:
- Contact dermatitis (an inflammation of the skin caused by a substance that comes into contact with the body);
- Atopic dermatitis (a disease that usually lasts a long time and causes inflammation of the skin, leading to the appearance of lesions and itching);
- Seborrheic dermatitis (a disease that manifests in parts of the body where there is greater sebum production by the sebaceous glands, associated with the presence of a fungus);
- Intertrigo (irritation between skin folds caused by the retention of sweat, heat, moisture and increased germs in the area);
- Dyshidrosis (lesions that appear exclusively on the hands and feet , the origin of which may be parasitic, drug-related, or allergic);
- Neurodermatitis (skin inflammation characterized by a continuous cycle of itching and thickening of the skin).
How to use Cetobeta Dermatological Cream?
Apply the medication to the skin only. Use on areas other than the skin, such as the eyes, will cause unwanted effects and unpleasant reactions may occur.
You should only use Cetobeta® under the guidance of your doctor. Use the medication topically. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area of skin once a day. In more severe cases, or as directed by your doctor, you may apply it twice a day.
Do not use Cetobeta® for periods longer than 2 weeks. Children under 12 years of age should use small amounts of Cetobeta®. Adults and children should not use more than 45 grams per week. There are no contraindications related to age groups.
Instructions for opening the tube:
For your safety, this tube is tightly sealed. This packaging does not require the use of sharp objects.
Remove the cap from the tube.
Using the pointed top part of the cap, pierce the seal on the tube.
Follow your doctor's instructions, always respecting the times, doses, and duration of treatment. Do not interrupt treatment without your doctor's knowledge.
When should I not use Cetobeta Dermatological Cream?
Cetobeta® is contraindicated if you are allergic to any of the components of the medication. You should not use the medication in or around the eyes.
Do not use Cetobeta® in certain skin infections, such as: chickenpox, herpes simplex or zoster, cutaneous tuberculosis or cutaneous syphilis.
If you have one of these conditions, you should consult your doctor before using this medication.
