Aspirin 500mg - 20 Tablets
What is Aspirin 500mg used for?
Aspirin is indicated for:
- Symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, sore throat, menstrual pain, muscle pain, joint pain, back pain, and arthritis pain;
- Symptomatic relief of pain and fever in colds or flu.
How to use Aspirin 500mg?
Adults:
Take 1 to 2 tablets. If necessary, repeat every 4 to 8 hours. Do not take more than 8 tablets per day.
Children aged 12 and over:
1 tablet. If necessary, repeat every 4 to 8 hours. Do not administer more than 3 tablets per day.
Aspirin should preferably be taken after meals with plenty of liquid.
Aspirin should not be taken for more than 3 to 5 days without consulting your doctor or dentist.

When should I not use Aspirin 500mg?
Aspirin should not be used in the following situations:
- hypersensitivity (allergy) to acetylsalicylic acid or other medications It is not from the same class as Aspirin (salicylates) or any other component of the medication. If you are unsure whether you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, consult your doctor.
- history of asthma attacks induced by the administration of salicylates or other substances with similar action, especially anti-inflammatory drugs non-steroidal;
- Stomach or intestinal ulcers (acute gastrointestinal ulcers);
- tendency to bleed (hemorrhagic diathesis);
- severe impairment of kidney function (severe renal failure);
- severe impairment of liver function (severe liver failure);
- severe impairment of heart function (severe heart failure);
- treatment with methotrexate at doses equal to or greater than 15 mg per week;
- last trimester of pregnancy (see section “4. What should I know before using this medicine?”, Pregnancy).

If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Do not use this medication if you are pregnant, have gastritis or stomach ulcers, or if you suspect dengue fever or chickenpox.
